The study was written for answering this question, what interpretation of revelation in religion has been presented by Nathan Söderblom, a prominent historian and phenomenologist of religion. So far, researches have been done in the West on the topic of Söderblom's attitude towards revelation; But the difference between this research and other researches is the comprehensiveness and different viewpoints of the analysts of this research. This research has been done around such axes as the relationship between revelation and religion in Söderblom's Science of Religion, the origin of revelation, the type of revelation and its continuity in history, which provides a comprehensive understanding of the issue of revelation in his Science of Religion. The output of this article is as follows: Söderblom's interpretation of revelation, despite the fact that it is a Christian-based analysis in the propositions related to the centrality of revelation in religion, the origin of revelation and the revelation of God in Jesus, it also has innovations. In this innovative interpretation, revelation is assigned to the high level of human consciousness and is placed on the axis of religious genius, which has a positive correlation with aesthetics, sanctification of the world, and the perception of continuous creation. Also, revelation is considered as the central sign of the discourse, the meeting point of religions, and its signs can be applied to primitive religions.
