Abstract
Undoubtedly, the nature of classic epistemology is belief-oriented and mainly discusses about the following subjects: mind and the subject mental abilities, his believes relations to the external world, their extent of objectivity, scope and stages of knowledge, way of reaching to the epistemic justification and certainty and fighting skepticism. Because of these characteristics, some call it as individualistic and internalistic epistemology, which its research program can not reach to objective and impersonal knowledge. Carl Raimund Popper is one of the thinkers who know epistemologies based on justification of beliefs and subjective state as nonobjective and so-called second world epistemology which does not any justifiable argument for the problem of progress and development of objective and scientific knowledge. The author in this essay discusses some of characteristics of classic epistemology in Islamic and western tradition and then studies and criticizes Popperian third world epistemology.
